Henrico’s Seth Cutler-Voltz got it done on the mound and at the plate.
The senior pitched a complete game shutout and went 3 for 4 with four RBI as the Warriors defeated host Atlee 14-0 on Friday.
Cutler-Voltz gave up five hits and struck out five in six innings. He had a three-run double to clear the bases in the second inning for Henrico, ranked seventh in the DigitalSports Top 10.
Senior second baseman Adam Toombs also went 3 for 4 with a double, two RBI and three runs.
Henrico finished with 14 hits against three Raiders’ pitchers. Seven different players had at least one RBI.
Atlee starter Taylor Sandefur lasted four innings and gave up six runs on nine hits to earn the loss.
The Radiers’ Ryan Kontra had two hits but Atlee never had a runner reach third base.
Warriors catcher Michael Mansfield called a great game behind the plate, threw out two runners attempting to steal and went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBI.
Henrico won their third game of the week and improved their record to 3-1 in the Capital District and 9-2 overall while the Raiders fell to 2-3, 6-6.
